Marilyn G. Stailey, 77, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Hospice Family Care in Prescott, Ariz. Marilyn was born in Oquawka, Ill. In 1948, after her marriage to George W. Stailey, she moved to Springfield, Ill. Marilyn graduated as a registered nurse from Yavapai Community College. She obtained a Bachelors in Nursing at Northern Arizona University. Marilyn worked in a medical office of Dr. Strausser and at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. Marilyn was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the Prescott Quilting Club, Telephone Pioneer Club and Prescott Christian Church.

Marilyn is survived by her husband George W. Stailey of Prescott; a sister, Pearl Beert of Rockford, Ill.; daughters Barbara Stone (Ron) of Phoenix, Ariz., and Nancy Cooley (Richard) of Springfield, Ill.; sons George Stailey of Indianapolis, Ind., and Robert Stailey (Sharon) of Virginia Beach, Va.

Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
