Glenn Sherwood Trimble, 76, of Pinedale, Arizona, passed away on February 13, 2003.

Mr. Trimble served in the Pacific Theatre during WWII in the Navy.

Visitation 6-8 PM Saturday, February 15th at Owens Mortuary in Show Low, AZ. Services will be 1:30 PM on Sunday, February 16th at Grace Church in Show Low.

Glen Sherwood Trimble, 76, died Feb. 13, 2003 in Show Low.

He was born in Pennsylvania and lived there until moving to Indiana where he went to college on the G.I. Bill. He served bravely in the Pacific Theatre during WWII serving on an LST in the US Navy. It was in Indiana that he met Lois Schutte. They were married and moved to Erie, Pennsylvania, where he learned the woodworking trade.

Ten years later he moved to Phoenix, and began refinishing furniture. He later moved to the White Mountains and went into real estate, which he enjoyed greatly. After retirement he became a substitute teacher in the Show Low School District. He especially enjoyed the high school students and he became good friends with the football and basketball teams. HE was known as "Mr. T."

Glenn is survived by his wife, Lois of Pinedale; one son, Geoffrey Trimble and his wife Joanna of Pinedale; two daughters, Deborah Guthier and her husband Geoffrey of Pinedale and Rebecca Ohton of Mesa; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 16 at Grace Church in Show Low.

Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
