| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 20, 2008 Nicole L. Ward, 22, of Phoenix, Ariz., died in a tragic car accident Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. Nicole was born May 17, 1985, in Phoenix and graduated from Greenway High School in 2004. She worked at Target and went to Apollo College and received her certificate as a dental assistant. At the time of her death, she was working as a Member Service Representative for SunWest Federal Credit Union. Nicole touched many lives with her smile, giggles and feet-shuffling. The most dearest to her were her baby daughter Kyla Mae; fiancé Jason Decker; parents Bob and Jaquetta Ward; her nana Ethel Bennett of Prescott; sister Beth Atkinson (husband Dave); brothers Shayne and Rob; her lifelong friend Krystal Tippets. Nicole’s life was cut short but she felt the love a mother has for her child, the love of both parents and the love of a man. She loved the sea wind in her hair, the thrill of deep-sea fishing, the joy of life and also the sadness of it. We will miss her so, but will work to raise her daughter as she would have. Memorial services took place Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008, at Chapel of the Chimes in Phoenix, Ariz. Information provided by survivors. |
