Miguel V. Solarez, a longtime Phoenix, Arizona resident, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 14, 2003. He was born Dec. 7, 1914 in Phoenix, Az.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a WWII Veteran with an honorable discharge.

He worked in the furniture business until retirement.

He is survived by his daughters, Alice Hernandez, Jennie P. Wilson, and Mary L. Espinosa; grandchildren Joshua and Joah Espinosa, Myda Noah Garza, Jorge Dominguez, Paul Hernandez and many more grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Viewing is scheduled for today from 12-12:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Sienne with a Rosary at 12:30 p.m., Jan. 17th, 2003, with funeral Mass beginning at 1:30 p.m., interment to follow.
