| The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, December 15, 2009 LaVerta Katheryn Weatherspoon, 81, of Camp Verde, passed away December 11, 2009. She was born May 7, 1928 in Luray, Missouri to the late Chester and Mildred (Williamson) Locke. LaVerta is survived by her daughters Judy M. Milam of Eugene, Oregon and Sharol R. Howell of Camp Verde; her sister, Freda S. Funk of Dacoma, Colorado; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-greandchildren. Visitation will be held this evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.at Bueler Camp Verde Funeral Home, 143 W. Arnold Street, Camp Verde. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Parkside Community Church, 401 Camp Lincoln Rd., Camp Verde. Pastor Randy Strickland will officiate the Services.
