The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, December 03, 2009 Peter Steinmann, 85, of Sedona died November 24. He was born June 12, 1924 in Bremen, Germany, the son of Leo and Selma Steinmann. He attended Los Angeles schools and received his Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA. Mr. Steinmann served his country in the Army during World War II as a Sergeant. He was a banker for over 40 years. A community leader he was a member of Kiwanis. A member of the Church of the Red Rocks, he also was an avid runner, reader and teacher. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and father known for his kindness, loyalty and sense of humor. He leaves his wife of 42 years, Kristin; sons Donald (Nancy) of Chatsworth, California, Scott of Oxnard, California; daughters, Susan (Michael) of Canoga Park, California, Laurie (Jack) of Camarillo, California, Barbara (Chris) of Woodland Hills, California, Lisa of New Braunfels, Texas; and five grandchildren.
