| Winterset Madisonian, Winterset, Iowa November 17, 1999 MAXINE R. HALL, Arizona Maxine Rummel Hall, 84, died Nov. 4, 1999, in Mesa, Ariz. A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 5, at Velda Rose United Methodist Church. Cremation has taken place. Maxine Hall was born March 22, 1915, to Harrison and Marion Martin of Madison County. She attended Winterset High School, Simpson College and was a graduate of the University of Iowa. She taught at Winterset High School from 1953 until 1965. Maxine was actively involved in the local Salvation Army Auxiliary, Women's Society of Christian Service and the Velda Rose United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Association of University Women, Eastern Star and Y.W.C.A. Council. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Hall of Mesa; a son, James L. Rummel (wife Candice) of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a daughter, Susan A. Elliot (husband Steven) of Billings, Mont.; and two grandsons. |
