The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 20, 2003 Bryan Patrick Tenney was born March 9, 1984, a fourth generation native of Arizona, at Williams Air Force Base, Mesa, Arizona. He has lived his 18 years as a resident of Mesa attending Hawthorn School, Poston Jr. High and Mesa High School. Bryan was member and attended St. Andrew's UM Church. Bryan loved to work with stained glass and with his natural artistic talent made many beautiful and special gifts for family and friends. Bryan had a special love for aggressive in-line skating and stunt jumping. He has miles of videotape from all over, doing things that left his parents and grandparents shuddering. He was selected to be a "Student Ambassador" with the "People to People" Program and went to England, Wales and Ireland in the summer of 2001. He was selected in 2002 to go to Australia, but wasn't able to attend. Bryan is survived by: his parents, Mark and Barbara, and brother Robert Tenney, and his grandparents Peggy & Bud Tenney and Nancy & Donald Higgins and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The visitation is from 5:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21st and the funeral is at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22nd, at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 301 N. Longmore in Mesa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bank One acct number 25182242, in Bryan's name, all money will be given to the Student Ambassador Program that Bryan attended.
