Mrs. Wentworth's Mother Summoned

Funeral services were held in the Mercer Mortuary chapel in Phoenix at 10 o'clock Thursday morning for Mrs. LaVerna McVay, mother of Mrs. Robert Wentworth of Wickenburg. Dr Charles S. Poling of Wickenburg officiated.

Mrs. McVay, 70, died at her home in Phoenix Sunday evening. Born in Kansas, Mrs. McVay moved to Phoenix 18 years ago.

She was a frequent visitor in the home of her daughter and son-in-law here.

Survivors, in addition to Mrs. Wentworth, are a son, Howard O. McVay of Minneapolis, Minn.; two other daughters, Mrs. C. K. Blevins of Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. A. S. Field of Plasant Ridge, Mich.; and 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Burial was in the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix.
