Herbert Malcolm Lott

Herbert Malcolm Lott, born Jan. 14, 1930, in Edmonton,

Alberta, Canada, age 78, of Prescott Valley, passed away at Prescott Valley Good Samaritan Center, March 5, 2008.

Herbert taught high school in Edmonton. In 1968, he moved to Prescott, Ariz., then to Prescott Valley, Ariz., in 1980, where he was in the carpet and decorating business.

He enjoyed nature, gardening and collecting. Herbert’s greatest concern was to serve Christ by serving His people. He had a strong faith and was loved by many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Richard Lott, and mother, Margaret Brown (Lumsden) Lott.

Herbert is survived by his wife Grace (Ansley) of 52 years. He is also survived by sisters, Dorene Geldart of Victoria, B.C., and Sandra Ciochetti of Edmonton, Alberta; brother Gary Lott of Little Shuswap Lake, B.C.; and many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Herbert’s name can be sent to the new building of the Evening Time Lighthouse Church, P.O. Box 155, Dewey, Ariz.

A memorial service in honor of Herbert will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel, Prescott Valley, Ariz.
