Eleanor Adeline Cooper, 88, of Roosevelt died Sept. 1, 2003, at Cobre Valley Community Hospital in Globe. She and her late husband, Leonard, formerly owned and operated Five Mile Landing Resort in Topock, the Virginia Lakes Resort in the high Sierras in California for 10 years, and the Pikes Airport in San Diego, Calif., for five years. Survivors include one son, Leonard Joseph Cooper Jr. and his wife, Jane, of Roosevelt; one daughter, Karen Ferm of San Diego; and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Services. See Also: Find a Grave |
