Donald Richard Craver, 79, of Kingman went to heaven on Sunday March 2, 2008. He was born

Aug. 17, 1928, in Prescott, Ariz., to William and Gertrude Craver and was the youngest of eight chi ldren.

Don is survived by his wife Thelma of 50 years, and his three children Douglas, Sheri and Steven, Doug’s wife Lynda, Steve’s wife Cindy and his four grandchildren Justin, Jason, Leah and Sarah. A number of relatives throughout the U.S. and Canada and people that Don mentored through the years will also miss him greatly.

Don began to work for PBSW in Prescott when he was 16 and cont inued to work for PBSW in Prescott, Phoenix and Kingman for 35 years until he purchased the business in 1978 and renamed it “Don’s Office Products.” He retired in 1999 so he could spend more time with his family.

Don was the ultimate family man and the Craver family enjoyed many camping and boating trips throughout the years. The grandchildren were special favorites of his and they adored their Grandpa Don.

Don was involved with community service projects throughout Arizona. He was a member of Kiwanis for over 30 years and his favorite event was the “Dollars for Scholars” radiothon, which raised scholarship funds for young people in Kingman. Since Don spent hundreds of hours working and organizing this auction, we feel that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dollars for Scholars, P.O. Box 3993, Kingman, AZ 86402 in the name of Donald Craver or you can give to the charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Grace Lutheran Church, 2101 Harrison St., Kingman Ariz. Any and all family friends are welcome to attend.
