Richard Paul (Rick) Rohrback

Richard (Rick) Paul Rohrback of Prescott, Ariz., passed away on March 6, 2008, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born on April 24, 1930, to Kenneth and Eleanor ( Putman)
Rohrback in Detroit, Mich. He graduated from Michigan State with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and received his Master’s at UCLA in Westwood, Calif. After starting his career at North American Aviation, he found his true calling in computers and joined CCH Computax in 1965. After his retirement in 1990, he and his wife moved to Prescott, Ariz.

Rick enjoyed the Prescott Computer Society, was an avid traveler visiting all seven continents; was a gourmet cook; loved to garden and was proud of his orchids. The greatest joy of his life was his children and grandchildren.

Rick is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty; sons, Richard and Matt, daughter Janet Bautista, their spouses, Melanie, Laurie and Jerry; and seven beautiful grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

A private family service is planned with a Celebration of Rick’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
