Robert F. (Bob) Galloway

Robert F. ("Bob") Galloway of Wickenburg and a native of Noblesville, Ind., died June 16. He was 88.

Bob and his wife, Geraldine, who survives him, lived in Wickenburg for more than 20 years.
Mr. Galloway served with the U.S. Army's famed "Big Red One" Division that landed on Normandy Beach on June 6, 1944, in the invasion of Europe during World War II. During his army service he was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery.

In addition to his wife, Geraldine, Mr. Galloway is survived by four children, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was buried at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, with full military honors.
