Betty Jean (Harris) Alvarado

Betty Jean Alvarado died March 20, 2008, at her home in Prescott. She was born in French Camp, Calif., on March 5, 1943, to Jessie and Edna (Lambert) Harris. She was 65 years old.

Betty Jean married the love of her life, Memo, on Dec. 8, 1979, shortly after moving to Arizona from California. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She was most proud of her son Chris.

Betty Jean is survived by her beloved husband, Memo; her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tina; and grandchildren Annalicia, Abigail, Colleen and Armando.

A celebration of Betty Jean’s life will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2008, at Sacred Heart Church, 150 Fleury Ave, Prescott.
