| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, March 27, 2008 Virginia Omelka died March 21, 2008, at PineCrest Adult Care Home in Prescott, Ariz. She was born Feb. 10, 1925, in Los Angeles, Calif. A celebration of Virginia’s life will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Miller Valley Baptist Church, 815 Whipple St., Prescott. Private inurnment will take place Friday at the Mt. View Cemetery in Prescott. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family in making their final arrangements. Information provided by survivors. ------------------------------------------- Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, May 23, 2008 Virginia Omelka, 83, of Prescott, died on March 21, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Leon. She is survived by a daughter, Diane Butler of Hendersonville, N.C., and a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Leon Omelka and Judy Gordon-Omelka of Dallas, Ga. Virginia attended Stanford University, where she met and married Leon. They lived most of their life in Palo Alto, Calif., until Leon retired in 1986 and they moved to Prescott. She was a faithful member of Miller Valley Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the church at 815 Whipple St., Prescott, Ariz., 86301. A memorial service for Leon and Virginia will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, at Miller Valley Baptist Church, Prescott, Ariz. Information provided by survivors. |
