Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, March 27, 2008 Clara E. Alvis went to her Heavenly reward March 21, 2008. Clara passed away at the Prescott Hospice Family Care Center. Clara was born in Prescott on May 21, 1920, and lived in Arizona all her life. Clara graduated from Prescott High School in 1941. She leaves behind her husband of 66 years, Glenn Alvis; a son, Roy (Mary); granddaughter Connie (Randy) Evers; grandson Justin (Cathy); four great-granddaughters, Jessica and Krista Evers, Elah Alvis and Samantha Jeffcoat; brother Earl Richwine; niece Leah Richwine; and nephew Arthur Richwine. Clara’s parents, Alice and Glenn Richwine, preceded her in death. Clara will be buried at the Pioneer Home Cemetery. A memorial service to Celebrate Clara’s life will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008, at the Pioneer Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Prescott Hospice Family Care Center, 3195 Stillwater Drive, Suite B, Prescott, AZ 86305. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.
