Marjorie Virginia “Ginny” Hopper passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on the morning of March 17, 2008, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Phoenix, Ariz., to Lewis and Marjorie Davenport on March 9, 1926, and was also the stepdaughter of Jack Kinney. Ginny was raised in Prescott, Ariz., and graduated from Prescott High School. She met the love of her life, Wayne, in September 1947 and married three months later on December 27, 1947. Ginny and Wayne raised their
three children in Prescott, Ginny being a devoted mother and
homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wayne; daughters Nancy Marlin (Glenn), Cindy Page (Dave); and son David (Sharon); as well as eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Private services will be at a later date. An Open House to celebrate Ginny’s life will be on April 19, 2008. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of the Valley to recognize the devotion of their staff to our family.
