Ova Erklans, 96, of Globe died Sept. 23, 2003, at Heritage Health Care Center. She was born in Mobile, Texas, and had lived in Arizona more than 90 years. Prior to her move to Globe in 1996, she and her late husband, John, lived in Palominas on the San Pedro River where they had 30 acres of permanent pasture and farmland. She is survived by two daughters, Ima Lee Shelton of Globe and Linda Fletcher; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-great grandchildren. Graveside service was conducted Sept. 25 at Pinal Cemetery in Central Heights. Miles Funeral Service of Globe handled arrangements |
