Marian Smith (Mim)

Mim was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and friend to all she knew. Mim was called home on the morning of Tuesday, April 9, 2008.

Mim grew up in Phoenix, Ariz., then moved to Chino Valley in October 2003. She was a cashier at Hunts Building Center, where she made many friends. She always had a way of making everyone she met smile, even on her bad days. Everyone she came in contact with grew to love her.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, mother, father, sister and brother. She is survived by her daughter Veronica Yarbro; sons, Richard Lloyd Peel, Jason Smith; sisters, Barbara Hadley, Jessie Fitch; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at the LDS Church on Perkinsville Road in Chino Valley. Donations are being accepted at Hunts Building Center, 1204 N. Highway 89 in Chino Valley, Ariz.

Chino Valley Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.
