Barbara Mary Middleton passed away on April 5, 2008, at Hospice Family Care in Prescott, Ariz. She was 64 years young. Barbara was born Aug. 6, 1943, in Manitowoc, Wis. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday April 12, 2008, at Arizona Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez, Prescott, Ariz. Please visit www.Ruffner-wakelin.com to sign Barbara’s guestbook and sharing of memories.

In lieu of flowers, family has asked that you please make donations in Barbara’s name to Mayo Clinic Cancer Research.

Barbara Mary Middleton passed away on April 5, 2008 at Hospice Family Care in Prescott after a long struggle with cancer. Barbara is preceded in death by son Matthew and brother James. Barbara was born August 6, 1943 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Frank & Helen Denk. She married her soul mate Kenneth Middleton on September 21, 1963. Barbara & Kenneth had four beautiful children together. Barbara moved to Arizona in 1969 and was a Yavapai County resident since 1984. Her hobbies included Quilting & sewing. Barbara loved to travel and hunt for antiques,but one of her most favorite past times was watching baseball especially with her children & grandchildren. Barbara was proudest of her kids and the special love that her and husband Kenneth had throughout their forty-five years of marriage. Words cannot express the love this family has for their beloved wife and mother, Barbara will be greatly missed. Barbara was taken through the pearly gates and fitted for her wings, so brightly they shine, how full are their span, earned through her love and devotion..........

Barbara Mary Middleton was survived by husband, Kenneth Middleton; son & family, Michael & Darby Middleton, and kids Michele, Melissa, Ashley, Hunter, & Chase; daughter & family, Marla Jordan & son Matthew; son & family, Mark & Antonia Middleton, and kids Mattingly Anne, & Nathan; brother & wife Jerry & Betty Denk; sister & husband Beverly & Ray Jurgens; great grandchild Teryn.
