Everett Raymond Denny Jr., age 94, passed away April 1, 2008. He was born July 26, 1913, in Dexter, Mo., and was raised in New Paris, Ohio. Ray moved to Tucson, Ariz., in 1944 and later to Prescott, Ariz., in 1977.

Ray was a real estate agent in Tucson for 34 years and in Prescott for 12 years.

He was a member of Aztlan Masonic lodge in Prescott and in Tucson since 1957.

Ray is survived by his daughter, Martha Jean Seesholtz of Prescott; grandchildren Judy Seesholtz of Prescott, Janet Seesholtz-Root (Alan) of Phoenix, Ariz., James Seesholtz (Marcela) of Glendale, Ariz., Leesa Nokes (Justin) of Phoenix, and Bryon Denny (Marcela) of Glendale; five great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Carole Denny of Phoenix.

Ray was preceded in death by his loving and caring wife, Evelyn, 12 years ago after 62 years of marriage. He was also preceded by his son Jack.

A visitation was Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave.

Funeral services took place 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Heritage Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Family Care and Prescott United Methodist Church.

Heritage Memory Mortuary will be handling the arrangements.
