Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, April 04, 2008 Lillian Henry, 82, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, Ariz. She was born July 27, 1925, in Ohio, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Mullins) Hamrick. She married H. Dale Henry in 1941 and the two moved to Arizona in 1948. Lillian was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Chino Valley. She enjoyed baking and sharing with those in need. Lillian also worked for many years in the nursing profession. Lillian is survived by her five children, Larry (Joe Anne) Henry of Gilbert, Ariz., Derrick (Conny) Henry of Vass, N.C., Cherri Henry, Canda Mathews and Genea D. Curran all from Chino Valley, Ariz.; grandchildren Larry D. II, Beau Jay, Christopher, Valerie, Michael, Jesse, Jennifer & Jolin, Shade, Donna and Adam; great-grandchildren Anna E., Melody, Lexus, Gunnar, Zoe, Kayla, James, Rayne, Rudy, Tarron, Keegan and Hawken. A visitation will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton, followed by a Celebration of Lillian’s Life at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5. There will be a committal service at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 7, at the Prescott National Cemetery in Prescott. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Lillian’s name to Yavapai Humane Society, 1625 Sundog Ranch Road, Prescott, AZ 86301.
