Charles M. (Chuck) Frank, 63, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on January 10, 2005 at the Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale, AZ.

Chuck loved his family and his friends with a passion and cherished life and all it offered.

Throughout his lengthy battle with his illness he displayed incredible courage and a positive attitude that was an example for all who knew him.

Chuck was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 20, 1941. His family moved to Phoenix in 1952. He graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1959 and later attended Phoenix College and Arizona State University.

He started his sales career with Standard Surgical Supply. After spending time in real estate development, Chuck continued his career with B.G. Associates where he was vice president. He was also very active in the community and became a member of the Phoenix Thunderbirds in 1976. He was extremely active in all of their charitable undertakings. In 1984 he was General Chairman of the Phoenix Open Golf tournament and was also Big Chief of the Thunderbirds. In 1991 he won the Leroy Lanuti Award for Outstanding Life Thunderbird. He was a member of Arizona Country Club for many years.

Chuck loved the game of golf and the camaraderie of his buddies. He also loved spending time in the kitchen and was an accomplished cook.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Donna, son Rick and his wife Cindy, son Mark and his wife Kelly and three beautiful grandchildren, Haley, Hannah and Charlie.

Funeral Services at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3641 N. 56th Street, Phoenix, AZ. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Thunderbird's Charities, 7226 N. 16th Street Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ 85020 or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
