Margaret Garcia Valenzuela, July 19, 1936-January 19, 2005.

Loving wife of Ed VALENZUELA, mother of Richard VALENZUELA (Tina) of Alameda, California, Delores YOUNGBLOOD (Ross) of Portland and Alicia Marie VALENZUELA of Tempe, Arizona. Grandmother of Mandy Trinidad VALENZUELA CACIOPPO (Chris), Julie YOUNGBLOOD, and Kyle VALENZUELA. Great grandmother of Ayden Cacioppo-expected February 6, 2005. Cousin of the Carrera's and Perales' of Richmond and San Pablo, California. Margaret fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Margaret was born in Richmond, California and moved to Tempe, Arizona in 1971 when her husband, Ed, was transferred. She returned to school when her children were older and earned her Bachelor Degree with honors at Arizona State University in 1986.

Margaret represented the spirit, courage, dignity, grace, compassion, and strident determination of her family heritage and culture. She possessed a vibrant keen personality and strong positive characteristics that will be engraved in our hearts and memories forever. Margaret was a dedicated family person enriched with love, guidance and nurturing. She was kind, giving, and loving.

She was dedicated to her Catholic Church, Mt. Carmel in Tempe, Arizona. Margaret loved her dancing.

Visitation at Carr Tenney Mortuary 2621 S Rural Rd Tempe and a mass was held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church 2121 S Rural Rd Tempe.
