FORMER DEWEY MAN DIES AT HOME HERE

Heart failure, following a stroke suffered a year and a half ago, claimed the life early Friday morning, December 13, of Sam Resley, age 53, a resident of Wickenburg for the past 18 months. Death occurred at his home on Fourth Street.

Before coming to Wickenburg, Mr. Resley operated a garage and service station at Dewey, Ariz. for 18 years, giving it up when his health failed. He was born in Canada June 29, 1893, and had lived in Arizona since 1912.

Surviving are the widow, three brothers and three sisters. The brothers are John of Skull Valley, Jim of Tempe and Mike of Bakersfield, Calif.; the three sisters, Mrs. Fred Patton of Skull Valley; Mrs. Blanche Barlow of Jasper, Tex., and Mrs. Estelle Conn of Beaumont, Tex. Mrs. Patton had been with her brother here for several months up until the time of his death.

Funeral services were held in Prescott Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in the Prescott cemetery.
