| Norman James Krah, 79, of Peoria, passed away on December 1, 2002 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by wife Frances in 1983. Norman is survived by his daughters Verna Farris (Bill), Diana Mackelprang (Larry), Linda Westfall (A.J.), Cindy Smith (David), Lynette Tartaglio (David) his sons John (Janis), Daniel (Rose), Richard (Patty), and Joseph (Cindy) Krah, twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren known to him as "PaPa" and many more family and friends. Norm retired from the City of Phoenix as the Superintendent of the Street and Maint Dept for 23 years. For the past 12 years Norm has volunteered at Apache Elementary School tutoring kids in math. Visitation and Rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 4th at Heritage Funeral Chapel 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd. Peoria, with a Mass to follow on Thursday at St. James Catholic Church 19640 N. 35th Ave. Phoenix. Fami1y requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for the Norman Krah Volunteer Fund. Published in the Arizona Republic 12/3/2002, page B9. |
