Lillian Mary Carnahan, born Dec. 18, 1942, in Chicago, Ill., died peacefully at home on April 17, 2008, surrounded by her family. She fought a hard battle against pancreatic cancer and kept her signature determination until the end.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughters Megan Carnahan and Heather Swanson, and her son-in-law, Jason Swanson.

A memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, at the All Saints Catholic Newman Center, 230 E. University Drive, Tempe. A celebration of her life will be scheduled for a future date.

The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent in Lillian’s name to St. Mary’s Food Bank, Attn: Development W, 2831 N. 31st Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009.

Tempe Mortuary is assisting the family.
