| Joseph Eugene Martindell Sr., of Sun Lakes, AZ. passed away June 5, 2003 in Mesa, AZ. at age 91. He was born March 29, 1912 in Central, AZ. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughter Coleen Clement, son Joseph E. Jr., sister Lura Bateman of Bakersfield, CA, brothers, Walt of Baltimore, MD., Jay of Memphis, Tenn., and Louis of Snowflake, AZ. He also had 5 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandson. Joseph spent many years in California working in his service station before moving to Alaska. While living in Alaska he became an avid big game hunter and fisherman. He returned to AZ about 20 years ago. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. June 10, 2003 at the LDS Pleasant 3rd Ward, 800 W. Chandler Heights Blvd in Chandler. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service. Published in The Arizona Republic on 6/9/2003. |
