OLIVER, Jack

Funeral services for longtime Congress resident, Jack Oliver, were conducted at the Community Center on Friday, Nov. 26, 1993, by Fr. Joseph Krijnen. An Arizona native, Oliver was born in Tempe in 1914.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen; sons, Steven and Bruce; daughter, Jackie and grandchildren, Amber, Sarah and Nash Oliver, all of Congress.

Interment was in the Congress Cemetery. Condolences to his family and many friends.

OLIVER, Jack

Jack Oliver of Congress died Nov. 22, 1993, at the VA Hospital in Prescott. He was 79. Mr. Oliver was born June 26, 1914, in Tempe and had lived in Arizona all his life. He was a self-employed cattle rancher in the Congress area.

He served in the U. S. Army from Dec. 19, 1942, until Dec. 21, 1945, in which two years were served in overseas duty.

Mr. Oliver is survived by his wife Ellen Mae of Congress; daughter Jackie Oliver, also of Congress; sons, Steve and wife Shirley Oliver and Bruce and wife Mary Oliver, all of Congress; brothers, Gene Oliver and Pete Oliver, both of Phoenix; grandchildren Nash Oliver of Wickenburg and Amber and Sarah Oliver of Congress.

Services have been held, with interment at the Congress Cemetery.

Father Joseph Krijnen officiated.

Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
