Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona - November 22, 1946 FINAL RITES HELD HERE TUESDAY FOR PIONEER RESIDENT A pioneer resident Wickenburg, Mrs. Jennie Coleman, age 79, died Sunday, November 17, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roberta Zertanna, in Phoenix. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church in Wickenburg Tuesday at 2 p. m. with burial in the Wickenburg cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev. Charles A. Surber, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, and Hassayampa Chapter No. 35, 0. E. S., of which Mrs. Coleman had long been a member. Grave side services were also conducted by the O. E. S. Mrs. Coleman came first to Wickenburg in 1917 and is well remembered by all old residents here. Always very active, she at one time operated a rest home on Jefferson Street. She had lived with her daughter in Phoenix for the past several years. Only other immediate survivor is a grandson, Jim Don Baillie. See Also: Find A Grave |
