Thelma E. Edwards

Thelma E. Edwards, 85, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2006 in Apple Valley, California. She was born on February 25, 1921 in Oklahoma.

Thelma worked as a homemaker and attended the LDS Church.

Thelma is survived by her daughters, Janell Johnson, of Arlington, Texas, Anna Adams, of Yuma, and Phyllis Lewis, of Los Angeles, California; brother, Frank Pevehouse, of Blue, Oklahoma; sisters, Lilly Farrell, of Casa Grande, Arizona, and Annie Mize, of Durant, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Edwards; son, Donald Edwards; parents, Dave and Nora Pevehouse; brother, Charlie Pevehouse; and sisters, Tiny Pevehouse, Daisy Smith, and Jewell Miller.

Visitation will be at Yuma Mortuary on Thursday, April 13, 2006 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be at Yuma Mortuary on Friday, April 14, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers are Nathan, James, and Scott Johnson, Jim and Jamy Hansen, and Kathleen Daniel.
