[January 18, 1836-April 7, 1914]

Anna Adelaide Foster, mother of Mrs. E.A. Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 7th, after an illness of a week,

The deceased was born in Knightstown, Indiana on January 18, 1836, and came to Arizona in 1894 and lived here ever since that time. Mrs. Foster was injured in a fall about twelve years ago and was crippled considerably. She was a constant sufferer but bore her troubles bravely, never complaining and always doing her best to comfort her daughter.

Besides Mrs. Cleveland she leaves one son, J.W. Foster, of Kansas City, Mo., to mourn her death. The son was unable to be present. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock and the interment took place in the old cemetery near town.
