Robert W. Iosty, 82, of Dewey, Ariz., born Aug. 5, 1925, in Centerville, S.D., passed away May 6, 2008, in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. with services following at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

Sunrise Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.

Robert W. Iosty of Dewey, Ariz. passed

away on May 6, 2008 at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Darlene and two daughters , Myra Iosty of Culver City, Calif., and Sheila Iosty of Glendale, Ariz.

Robert spent his early years in Centerville, S.D., before enlisting in the U.S. Merchant Marines to serve in World War II. He worked as a baker after attending the Wilton School of Cake Decorating in Chicago, Ill. He became a Regional Sales Manager at Hastings Manufacturing in Michigan and retired from the company after 33 years. Robert and Darlene have resided in Dewey for the past 16 years.

Funeral services in honor of Robert will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment at Heritage Memorial Park in Prescott Valley. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Dementia Unit of the Extended Care Rehabilitation Center of Prescott Veteran’s Hospital.
