Robert Frederick Smith

Robert Frederick Smith, age 71, of Prescott passed away at his home November 16, 2007. He was born June 29, 1936, in Massillon, Ohio, to Clarence and Beatrice Smith. Robert was born and raised in Massillon.

In 1956 he married Lillian Kay (Wilson) and entered the U.S. Army. They moved to Arizona in 1965, where Robert was a self-employed
cabinetmaker. At the normal age of retirement, he designed and built the Navette Motorhome. There are 12 on the road today, but production stopped when Robert got cancer.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dennis. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Lillian Kay (Wilson) Smith; son Steven Robert Smith; daughters Linda Kay Custer, Cathy Jo Riviere; brothers Richard and Kevin Smith; and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday November 21, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Prescott, Ariz. with visitation being held one hour prior to service.

Burial will follow at the Arizona Pioneers' Home Cemetery in Prescott.

In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
