Dean Allen Wyman 1958 - 2007

Dean Allen Wyman passed away suddenly November 3, 2007 at Cottonwood, Arizona.

He was born May 25, 1958 in Miles City, Montana, to Page and Dorothy (Dietz) Wyman.

After his father drowned in 1959, he continued to live in Glendive, Montana, with his mother. He began school in Glendive, and later moved to Drummond and Coram, Montana, with his mother and step-father Les Crawford. He also lived in Carson City, Nevada, and Keams Canyon, Arizona, graduating from Ganada High School in 1976.

Dean Wyman married Valerie Scott in 1977. He served in the US Air Force, at Chanute Air Base , Illinois, and Tucson Davis Lawson base as a jet mechanic from 1976 to 1980. After being honorably discharged from the military, Dean worked as a control operator and union steward at Cholla Power Plant near Holbrook, AZ, from 1981 until 2005

In 2002 Dean married Gayle King in Holbrook, Arizona, and in 2007 moved to Cottonwood, Arizona. Dean most loved spending time with his children, stepchildren and grandson. He also enjoyed basketball, hunting, fishing, and some rodeoing. He was a special blessing to his Wyman grandparents, travelling and visiting with them during his teen years.

Dean was a loving father, a wonderful husband and friend and will be surely missed and remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.

He is survived by his beloved wife Gayle of Cottonwood, two sons, Robert and Jack of Holbrook, Arizona; his step-son Keith and step-daughter Amanda; his mother, Dorothy Roberts of Parker, Arizona; two brothers, Ricky Crawford and Randy Crawford of California, a sister Naomi Crawford of Parker Dam, California; two step-sisters, Laura Drager and Rebecca Reinhardt of Billings, Montana, his grandson Devon River Wyman of Holbrook, AZ, and numerous aunts, uncles , nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Page Wyman, his step-father Les Crawford, his maternal grandparents, Jack and Katherine Dietz; and his paternal grandparents, Wes and Neva Wyman.

Memorial services with military honors will be held in Holbrook, Arizona, followed by a celebration of his life at the American Legion Hall on Thursday, November 8, 2007, at Holbrook, AZ.

Dean A. Wyman, 49, of Cottonwood, Ariz., born May 25, 1958, in Miles City, Mont., passed away Nov. 3, 2007, in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

Private services will take place at a later date.

Chino Valley Funeral Home is caring for the family.
