Long-Time Prescott Resident Mrs. Cora M. Parmenter, Dies

Cora M. Parmenter, 72, long-time Prescott resident, died Sunday in Hawthorne, Nev.

She suffered a fatal heart attack while en route to Prescott from Ferndale, Wash., where she had been visiting a daughter.

Born March 26, 1888, in Glenwood, Minn., she had been a resident of Arizona for 33 years.

Mrs. Parmenter leaves her husband Lee, of Prescott; six daughters, Mrs. Iva Christenson of Bisboe, Mrs. Virginia Bullion of Ferndale, Mrs. Helen Winn of Redding, Calif., Mrs. Ethel Henderson of Grass Valley, Calif., Mrs. Betty Thompson of Prescott and Mrs. Jean Morehead of Texas; three sons Wilford, Port Angeles, Wash., Ray, Eugene, Ore., and Jack, Seligman; two brothers and a sister, 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Hampton Funeral Home chapel by Rev. David Curtis, minister of the Miller Valley Church of Christ.

Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
