Estevan R. Benavidez, 20, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz. He was born on Dec. 23, 1989 in Miami, Ariz., the son of Eddie and Rosemary Benavidez.

He was a laborer for a construction company and was a lifetime Arizona resident.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary V. Benavidez.

He is survived by his daughter, Addison Rose Benavidez, of Phoenix, Ariz.; father, Eddie E. Benavidez of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Leticia Rocha (Jeremy), of Globe, Ariz.; brother, Eddie Jo Benavidez, of Springerville, Ariz.; fiancee, Janessa Rene Griego; and nephews, Emilio Rocha, Max Rocha, Joshua Rocha, Zander Benavidez, Kaiden Benavidez, and Eddie Benavidez.

Estevan was a very happy go lucky guy. He grew up in Miami and graduated from Miami High School in 2008.

He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and family. In his free time he loved to draw and was quite the artist drawing tattoos. He worked in construction for Ames Construction Co. He liked going fishing and eating junk food.

Visitation was held at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Miami, Ariz. Rosary was held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Miami, Ariz. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Miami, Ariz. Interment at Globe Cemetery.
