Eleanor Gaylord, 88, of Sun City passed away on January 6, 2004.

Eleanor was the eldest of eight children born to Lester Hiram Fuller and Ora L. Jones Fuller on August 21, 1915, in Prescott. Eleanor attended elementary School in Phoenix, and Chandler High School.

In 1932 she married Lester Gaylord of Chandler. She and Lester, her husband of 70 years, traveled the world during Lester's military career in the Arizona National Guard and the USAF. Her love of photography was stimulated by their military assignments in Japan, Okinawa, Spain, and Bermuda.

After their retirement Eleanor became a licensed realtor working with E. V. Graham and Ben Ersland Realty in Scottsdale. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Lester, son Lester Lewis, sister Freddie Meeks, brothers Lester H. Fuller, Jr., Jack Fuller and Jerry Fuller. She is survived by her granddaughter, Leslie (Mike) Muir, great-grandchildren Robert and Shannon, and her great-great grandchildren, Taylor and Kyle, siblings Helen Pearson, Betty (Tracy) Dent, Gene (Phyllis) Fuller, sisters-in-law Penny, Hazel, Millie, and numerous nieces and nephews, all who will miss her deeply.

Eleanor was a member of the LDS Church Sun City Ward.

A memorial service with the family will be held at a later date. Arrangements handled by Sunland Mortuary.
