Joshua Garth Eaton

Joshua Garth Eaton, 35, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away May 19, 2008, in Prescott.

Joshua was a long time Prescott resident and earned his high school diploma at Prescott High School. Joshua was also an alumnus of The University of Arizona, earning a bachelor’s of science degree in microbiology. He worked at the Phelps Dodge analytical sciences laboratory where he maintained a sophisticated system of robotic chemical analyzers used in the production of copper. In his brief time at Phelps Dodge, Joshua earned several awards and promotions and became regionally known as the expert in chemical analyzing robotic systems.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Lee Eaton.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Eaton; brother Jason Hale Eaton and sister; Meghan Eaton (Desi) Aragon; three nieces and one nephew.

Joshua was known for his love of the outdoors, hiking, boat and especially jet skiing. His love for nature will live on in his family and their hearts.

He was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

A private service is being held by the family.

Services entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home.
