Richard R. Wohl

Richard R. Wohl, 75, of Sun City West, Arizona, formerly of Sun City, Arizona, and formerly of North Olmsted, Ohio, died n November 26, 2002.

Richard was a graduate of Ohio State University and served with the Army during WWII. Richard taught various sciences in the Cleveland, Ohio school system for 30 years, and taught 9 years for Allegheny College. In Arizona, he taught in the Glendale school system for 2 years, and taught various classes for the ASU Sun Cities program. Along with his wife, Annette, Richard developed, coordinated, and ran
the Sun Cities ASU on Wheels travel education program for 6 years. He was also a member of Photography West and various environmental organizations. He and his wife developed many photographic programs and entertained at many area nursing and care facilities.

At this time of year when we look backward and count our blessings, Richard's family is thankful for the wonderful years spent in the loving company of a remarkable man.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Annette; loving daughter, Ellen Wohl of Fort Collins, Colorado; dear sister, Ruth Hellriegel, of Solvang, California, and William Hellriegel of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Services will be private, with arrangements by Sunland Mortuary. His strength of character, sense of humor, and caring ways will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial contributions are suggested to Sun Health Hospice, the Sun City West Paramedics Christmas drive, the Multiple Myeloma Foundation, or The Nature Conservancy of Arizona.
