Frances B. ImOberstag, a frequent visitor of Wickenburg and a member of the Las Senoras de Socorro in Wickenburg, died Tuesday, July 13, 1993, in Michigan. She was 78.

Services for Mrs. ImOberstag, who was a native of Dearborn, Michigan, were held Friday, July 16, at the Christ Episcopal Church in Dearborn. Rev. Ward Clabuesch officiated.

She is survived by her children Margaret Campbell, Sallie Snyder and Ann Knoop of Dearborn, Katherine Campbell of Katonah, N. Y., Mary Biddinger of Dublin, Ohio, and Irving F. ImOberstag , Jr., of Bucksnort, Tenn.; sisters Elizabeth Potter and Carol Lemons; and brother Robert Bryant of Florida; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving F. ImOberstag.

After her husband's death, Mrs. ImOberstag became president of Kean Manufacturing.

Until her death, she was chairman of the board of Kean Manufacturing of Romulus, Michigan, and president and chairman of Capac Manufacturing in Capac, Mich. Besides being a member of Las Senoras de Socorro in Wickenburg, she also was on the board of the Children's Center, Metropolitan Agency for the Retarded, and the Western Wayne YWCA. She was a member of Christ Episcopal church, the Dearborn Country Club, and the Columbus Beach Club of Indian River, Michigan.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Center of Detroit and/or the Western Wayne YWCA, c/o Kjen Birch.

Arrangements were provided by the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home in Dearborn.
