Sometime during the early evening on Sunday, May 27, 2007, our beloved
father, Charles L. Anger, passed away. He left this earth with grace and
dignity and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.

He was a loving, dedicated husband, father and patriarch of a family
numbering eight children, 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

His legacy is one of great strength of character, perseverance, of many
physical challenges and an incredible ability to see the good in all he encountered both professionally and in his private life. He was a real people person and a great influence upon many people's lives.

Preceded in death by his parents Leo and Leonette, a brother Leo, wife Evelyn and a daughter Mary, dad was a steady, rock solid man's man and a pillar of strength and integrity for those who knew and loved him.

A Marine Corps veteran of the Korean conflict, dad lost one leg to a severe case of frostbite and contracted a form of polio in the other leg while convalescing in VA hospitals upon his return. He resumed his
career with the Prudential Insurance Company and eventually he and mom
retired after 39 years of dedicated employment, rising to an upper management position.

Never one to dwell on the negative and never one to complain, he was the
ultimate leader and motivator. A past member of the Prescott Kiwanis, upon his death was a member of the Chosin Few, a group of survivors of the Battle at the Chosin Reservoir. He also was a member of the Ed Reeves Chapter of Korean War veterans and a three-term commandant of the Prescott-based Copper State Detachment of the Marine Corps League,
which kept him busy and fulfilled in the 14 years he spent in Prescott, a community he dearly loved.

Dad, you will always be our hero. We will never forget the lessons in life you instilled in us. Rest easy, father. You will be in our hearts forever.

May God bless and keep you. Semper Fi, Marine. Job well done.

A Rosary will be said at 3:40 p.m. with a 4 p.m. Mass immediately following on Friday, June 1, 2007, at St. Catherine LaBoure' Catholic Church in Chino Valley, Arizona.

A celebration of his life will take place in the near future at a place and time to be determined. Flowers may be sent to the Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove St., Prescott, AZ. 86301 or donations may be made to the Copper State Detachment of the Marine Corps League, Prescott,
Arizona in his name.

Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary.
