Lister Rites were Held Here Monday

Funeral services for LORENZO D. LISTER were held in the Wickenburg Chapel at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Wayne Jones of Ajo, former pastor of the Assembly of God Church here officiating.

Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery.

Mr. Lister, 86, died in his home Wednesday evening of last week after a long illness.

Here from out of town for the services were a daughter Mrs. Eugene Bart of Madrid, Iowa, and a grandson, Jean Root, and Mrs. Root of Banning, California.

Mr. Lister was born in Lebanon, Ind., and was a farmer until he came to Wickenburg 15 years ago. His wife died in 1951.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Gaza, Mrs. Robert Dozier and Mrs. M.I. Root of Wickenburg, Mrs. Mrs. Eugene Bart of Madrid, Ia., and Mrs. Curtis Allen of Polk city, Ia.; one sons, Lorenzo Lister of Polk City, Ia.; 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
