| Leslie Garner, 53, of Mesa, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002. He was born September 20, 1948 in Ogden, Utah and moved to the Valley in 1958. He worked for the City of Mesa for 22 years as a building and fire inspector. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children Ann, Erin, Kent, Ryan, Deena, Tracy, Cami, Matthew, Haley, Jenny and Garrett; brothers Van, Jerry, Mike, Dale and Curtis; sister Rosemary Steele and was a foster parent to Rita, Quy, Michael, Zee and Sonia. He was preceded in death by his parents Betty and Darrell Garner. Visitation will be Monday, May 20, 2002 at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa. Services will be Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mesa 24th Ward, 997 E. Broadway, Mesa, with visitation also one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be sent to Emily Anderson Learning Center, c/o Phoenix Childrens Hospital, 1919 E.
