| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona August 17, 1962 Rites Held Monday for Mrs. Sheffield Funeral services for Mrs. KATHRYN D. SHEFFIELD, 68, who died in her home at Yarnell Thursday of last week, were held Monday morning. The Rev. Scott Siegle conducted rites in the Yarnell Community Church and the Order of Eastern Star conducted graveside rites in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Born in Mason, Texas, Mrs. Sheffield moved to Arizona 45 years ago. She resided in Yarnell for 13 years. Her father, Major Doole, patrolled the Gila route for the Union forces in the 1860’s.
