| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 14, 1962 Wittmann Rites for John G. Day Funeral services for JOHN GOULD DAY held in the Wittmann Community Chapel Wednesday with the Rev. Ed Hill officiating. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Day died last Saturday morning in Community Hospital here. Mr. Day was born in Hartford, Wis., November 11, 1896. He was employed as an electrician for leading Hollywood motion picture studios before moving to Wittmann six years ago to operate Day’s Rock Shop. He was a Mason and a veteran of World War I. Surviving are the widow, Irene; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Williams of San Francisco; and three sisters in Wisconsin. See Also: Find A Grave |
