Dustin Ray (Dusty) Barham

Dustin 'Gus' Ray Barham was born February 27, 1963 in Thermopolis, Wyo., to Bill and Mary Barham.

In 1965, the family moved to the ranch owned by his grandparents in Bridger, Mont. At a very young age Dusty learned to ride horses and rope, which became one of the loves in his life. He later competed in many amateur rodeo associations and PRCA rodeos. He was a member of the USTRC, MTRA, WRA, Rope America, and numerous team roping associations.

Dusty passed away July 20, 2005, in Sun City, Ariz. of cancer.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father.

Survivors include his wife Kathy; his mother Mary Iris Hulse; sister Penny Flack (Kenny) and brother Danny Barham; three nephews, two nieces, aunts, uncles and many wonderful friends.

Cremation has taken place in Sun City, Ariz., and his wife will take him to Greybull, Wyo., to the Sam and Mary Good ranch for a memorial roping in June 2006 and leave his ashes in their arena.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Family Care in Peoria, Ariz.
