| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Az October 19, 2005 Agnes Bero passed away at the age of 96 on Oct. 13, 2005. She moved to Wickenburg in December 2000 after living in Glendale, Ariz., for 24 years. Agnes attended the R&R Respite Care Group where she enjoyed telling stories and socializing with the other seniors. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She was born in Dunbar, Pa. She married Stephen Bero from Uniontown, Pa., where they owned Bero's Market Grocery Store for many years. They relocated to Downey, Calif., and at retirement moved to Glendale, Ariz. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen, daughter Barbara Rae Nairn Bero, two brothers, six sisters and one niece Sister Evelyn. She touched many lives with her sweet and gentle ways and will be fondly remembered as a very warm and loving person. She is survived by her daughter Monica Lambert, granddaughter Leslie Ann Nairn, grandson Gregory Stephen Nairn, godchild and grandniece Roseanne Strouth and many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Toby. There was a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Anthony's in Wickenburg on Tuesday (Oct. 18) and a private graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery in Glendale.
