Raymond E. Tibbets

Word has been received here of the death of Raymond E. Tibbets on June 10 at Boseman, Montana.

Mr. Tibbets, who was 70 years of age, had spent his winters in Wickenburg for 13 years and had many friends here as well as in his summer home state of Montana who will miss him sadly. Many drove several hundred miles to pay their last respects.

Mr. Tibbets was born in Maine. He was an army veteran of World War I and a Navy veteran of World War II in which he served as an officer of the Seabees. For many years he was a hunting guide in Maine and a lapidarist by avocation.

Military services were held at Bowdoinham, Maine and burial was in the city.

He is survived by a son, Jerrold and two granddaughters of San Jose, Calif., and a sister Hazel in Maine.
